Soundtrack Producer is a free utility to generate WAV files to be inserted into AVI files as soundtracks. It is written in a mix of C++ and Visual Basic.

Among other options, Soundtrack Producer offers you previews of both the audio and the resulting video, via a very intuitive interface that supports dragging objects, and total compatibility with any codec installed in your PC.

Soundtrack Producer also offers you the option to copy and paste audio files, it has a timeline, and lets you choose the exit format of the file from among those accepted by your PC.
